just a little update about green day's position on the charts
the single, american idiot has dropped to position 13 due to new el crappo entrances from gwen stefani and britney spears. last week it was 11. however the good news is that it is one spot above the lame ass maroon 5 song.
the album is dropping, now at position 17 due to more new entrances, this time from the new ronan keating, shania twain and simple plan garbage. last week it was at number 16.
and i think the next single, boulevard of broken dreams, will be released on nov. 22, but i cant confirm this 100%- Posts: 82

sorry i havnt posted some news in a while but here is some bitter sweet stuff......
first the good news: green day will tour australia in march 2005, as tickets go on sale december 3. here are the dates
Monday 07 March Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Wednesday 09 March Sydney SuperDome
Thursday 10 March Melbourne Rod Laver Arena
Saturday 12 March Adelaide Entertainment Centre
Sunday 13 March Perth Rock It 2005, Arena Joondalup
now the bad: (it really is bad...)
the supporting band will be simple plan. thats pretty demented. hopefully a good aussie band will also support.

the next single is boulevard of broken dreams, and this will be released in australia on monday december 13.
it will come with 2 live tracks from the september 21, 2004 show at irving plaza, new york city- american idiot and shes a rebel. this was the concert the night the album was released in the states, one of 4 concerts where the played the whole album from start to finish- Posts: 82

green day charts updates:
the album is holding in the top 20, currently at no 19, down 2 spots from 17.
and the single, american idiot has taken a beating, falling to no 17 from 13.
